George EdwardMATHERWho passed away peacefully on Monday February 12th 2024 at the age of 87 years.
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the death of our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He leaves behind his three children, Steve, Keith and Julie, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
If anyone would like to celebrate the life of George with the family, the funeral is being held at Blacon Crematorium on Friday March 15th at 1.20pm.
We politely request, that we have family flowers only and any donations we receive are being donated to 'The Mayfields' (Methodist Homes Association). This is where George has spent the last few years living and being so brilliantly cared for by the amazing staff.
The wake will be held at The Groves Club, Chester Road, Whitby, Ellesmere Port CH66 2NZ following the service.
