Marlene devoted the last thirty years of her life in the fight for truth and justice for those she described as victims caught up in a broken Public Rights of Way system. Her in depth knowledge and painstaking research saw her become one of the foremost experts in the field. Those of us who were lucky enough to ‘find’ her owe her a great debt. She gave us not only her great knowledge but tenacity, renewed spirt and friendship. The legacy she has left us and those who will undoubtedly follow us is priceless. We love and miss you beyond measure Marlene. RIP

This is how I will always remember Marlene - ready to battle for the Peppards - a battle she won.

Sad news of the passing of a strong fierce advocate for those struggling with the injustice of claims on their homes and businesses via the outdated Public Rights of Way laws in this country. Marlene Masters helped many people with advice and assistance and they became lifelong friends as a result of her efforts. She will be greatly missed by those friends and associates. Our inboxes are quiet but our memories are full.
RIP Marlene.
