Fond memories of Johnny, as a child growing up on the same road, such a lovely family, I remember races on our bikes, singing at the top of our voices on O'Malley's corner, having a laugh, after all these years I bumped into Johnny not long ago, at Reddish Vale Golf Club, he hadn't changed, still sociable, kind, good sense of humour, hardworking, such a great sence of pride when telling me about his family, taken to soon, sending lots of love to his family, rest in peace

A true gentleman in every sense was John, even though he was our boss for many years he also made you feel like a good friend from the start which is why i really enjoyed my time working for him!!
Also my father worked with him and for him he also shares the same sentiments as myself!
A very sincere and kind hearted man and i for one will really miss catching up with him
Thanks for the memories big man

John was a great businessman, family man and most of all a down to earth type of a guy. John gave me my first job in groundwork when I was finished up on the railway. John was always willing to give you a chance no matter your background or knowledge, it was down to you to then prove yourself. John gave me my first opportunity in operating plant that I still do today to earn a living for my family and it’s something I won’t forget.
I would sometimes bump into John and his family on occasions around the town, his generosity was another level keeping the barmaid busy sending pints over to my table!
A gentleman and true role model in all aspects of life, thanks for all the help you did for me in that stage of my life

RIP John Malloney 🙏👊👍🇮🇪
