GeorgeMADDISONIt is with great sadness we announce that our beloved George died on 15th April 2025, aged 87 years.

A generous, funny and kind man, George spent his life working hard to provide and care for the family he so loved: Joan, his wife of 63 years, his children, Joanne and John, daughter in law Dominica and adored grandchildren, Cameron, Nathaniel and Hermione. A much loved brother and brother in law, George departed this life exactly as he would have wished; quickly, peacefully and in his own home.

As well as our broken hearts, George leaves behind the beautiful garden he created and which is flowering now in his honour.

The service to celebrate the wonderful life of a happy man is at Saltwell Crematorium on Wednesday 7th May 2025, at 12:00 pm and afterwards at The Ravensworth Arms, Lamesley. NE11 0ER.

Family flowers only please.
