EricLUDLAMWe are sad to relate the passing away of our dear brother, Eric Ludlam.
He was a thoughtful and caring elder brother to Stephen, Pauline and Gillian.
Sadly missed by nephews Kevin and Adam and special friend, Jacky.
Eric was also much loved by niece, Michelle, as well as many other family members and friends.

Eric had spent most of his working life as an engineer at Rolls-Royce in Derby. He enjoyed playing squash, hiking with friends, loved cars and aeroplanes, and reading about local history.

Eric had requested that his passing away be quietly acknowledged and therefore there will be no funeral or flowers.

All those who knew Eric as a friend and wish to contact the family please do so through

Eric was a kind and loving person. I originally met him at Ripley Tech and then reconnected with him in our twenties. I lived with Eric for over 7 years before we sadly separated. I have very fond memories of our time together. I am so sorry he has gone too soon. Carol Holliday Lawson, Colorado, USA

Sad to hear about Eric. I worked with him at Rolls- Royce In the Experimental dept. He liked his real ale and he used to go to the Derby Camra beer festival with his mate, I liked to drink with him there. I got on well with Eric he was a decent bloke. R.I.P Eric.
