Omg a legend in her own right. I had the pleasure of meeting her while working for the local chemist she used. The funniest woman ever,her stories about copying the old mans betting slip was hilarious! I loved visiting her. Love to nikala and all family x Rip Doris my darling girl.

Oh Nanny Doris, I never thought this day would come. You were as tough as old boots and fought right up until the end. I will miss you terribly. I keep saying it, but you honestly were my favourite human on this planet! Every time after seeing you I felt so uplifted, loved and grateful for having you as my Nan. I have so many fond childhood memories with you that I will treasure forever. The world is a little darker without you in it but your family and friends will always remember you. we see you in all our strong spirited females in our family :D To the greatest Nan there ever was, I love you always and rest in loving peace xx
