John Lowish was known and respected by all in the area. I have memories of working the potato fields with my peers from Barnetby village, washing up the posh plates from dinner parties and babysitting for the farm workers children, and taking in feral kittens from the farmyard. The Lowish name is firmly in my memories. RIP John and condolences to the family.
