BrendaLORDPassed away peacefully at Half Acre Residential Care Home aged 93 years.
Much loved Wife of the late Donald for 50 years, also a dear Sister to Anita and the late Barrie.
Brenda was an office worker, initially at the Co-op and later in the Civil Service in the Rochdale and Oldham area. She was known for her love of the Rochdale Amateur Dramatics & Operatic Society for her Tap and Ballet Classes. She later joined Anita to run the Syke Junior Theatre Club and created a charity group called Gainsborough Singers, designing and making all the costumes herself. She performed regular pantomimes at Lower Place Methodist Church and she loved all things glamorous, musical shows and cats!
Funeral service to be held at Rochdale Crematorium on Friday 13th December at 1.20pm.
Black dress with a touch of glitter would be appreciated.
