A brave, kind and loyal friend for many years from when we first met when we were 16!
Pat always met life ‘head on’ and no challenge was beyond her.
Always cheerful, and full of energy.
She loved swimming, squash, keep fit, gardening, reading, dressmaking, to name but a few of her interests, and later in life, was always ready to rise to any challenge to raise money for the Parkinson’s Society, from abseiling to Wing walking, she would give it her best. Never giving in to self-pity, her bravery shone through in every aspect of her life.
It was a privilege to call her my friend.

Pat, you were nothing short of a legend in your own lifetime. So much joy and kindness and more energy than me at half your age! You will be much missed and I hope I grow up to be just like you xxxx

Pat was a lovely, colourful, character, who brought joy to so many people. A loyal member of the National Keep Fit Association for many years, supporting them both national and locally. Sincere sympathy to her family members.

A lovely, colourful lady, who I had known for many years, through our love of keep fit. As a long standing member of the National Keep Fit Association, Pat was so supportive of all events, both nationally and local. Her sense of humour was second to none and I will so miss our telephone conversations just putting the world to rights! Rest in peace dear Pat
