I’ve only just found the announcement regarding Joan’s death. I am Jean Quantrill. I used to live in Withernwick and go to the Hull City Hall concerts with Joan.
She was a lovely person, deeply moved by classical music . She introduced me to a new way of being a widow and I am grateful. Best wishes to Toby
