Christine was so kind to me throughout my time swimming at Hucknall & Linby Dolphins. She always had a smile on her face and was always there for others. Even though I often competed against Alec, Christine always seemed to remain impartial and fair. She proudly battled against the challenges of life and it was so warming to know of her progress and fight. She will be missed.

Christine, you were a lovely lady who will be sadly missed, always thinking of others when going through your own tough times. Sorry we can't be there in person,we will be raising a glass for you(large 1 of course) love to all the family 🩷. From Melanie,Vicki & Grenville your yorkshire family xx

I met Christine through our children's swimming club Hucknall & Linby Dolphins. We spent hours by the side of the pool at training sessions & galas chatting away soon becoming friends. We had great fun on nights out together and at the legendary swimming club discos and presentation evenings. She was a lovely lady, fantastic mum, expert gardener and wonderful baker, a true one in a million. You will be very much missed Christine, thank you for some wonderful memories. Sending all my love to all the family xxx
