Brian AlbertLAWS1934 - 2024
A true gentleman.
It is with great sadness that the family of Brian shares the news of his passing on October 13th, 2024, at the age of 89.
Brian was Coventry born and bred and was well known in the area as a barn dance caller and wildlife artist and took pride in his work as a graphic designer.
In his younger days, he developed his life-long love of travel, was an officer in the 7th Company of the Boys' Brigade as well as a valued member of Lime Tree Park Methodist Church where he took on the roles of Steward and Senior Steward.
During his retirement, he volunteered for the National Trust at Packwood House for over 20 years and enjoyed bird watching, photography and travelling the world.
Brian will be much missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of very nearly 59 years, Angela, and their two daughters, Joanne and Kathryn. He will also be sorely missed by his sister, Susan; son-in-law, Mark; and grandchildren, Jordan, Kieran, Isobel and Benjamin. His great kindness, love of his family and witty sense of humour will be missed by them all.
The family would like to express special thanks to all at the Clay Lane Dialysis Ward as well as Ward 50 at UHCW for the care and compassion shown to Brian at the end of his life.
Brian's funeral service will be held at the Charter Chapel, Canley Crematorium on Thursday 7th November at 12.15pm. All are welcome to attend.
