Joan AnnLATHAMDied on the 15th November 2022 To my lovely wife, my soul mate, what do I do now you are gone after 61 years together? I was mesmerised from the moment I met you. Everyone said we would not last, too young, too different, yet you put up with me, looking out for me and bringing magic into my life. I am heartbroken and lost. Your loving Husband, Kenny Joan's funeral service will take place at St. Elizabeth's RC Church, Scarisbrick on Friday 9th December 2022 at 11am, followed by interment at St. Elizabeth's Churchyard. ***** Our beautiful Mother is gone, we can not get our heads around this new reality. When we were young, we arrived home from school excited to see you after a long day, you were like a warm light which created a home where we felt safe and happy. Money was always short but somehow you used your magic to conjure up a wonderful Christmas, always putting others needs before your own. You were fiercely protective of us all, yet maintained objectivity keeping us grounded and prepared for the realities of life. Later going on to share your magic with your grandchildren who called you Nana ha ha. You have suffered terribly over the last 11 months, your bravery and courage to keep battling was astonishing and it breaks our hearts that each obstacle you over came only led to another. We remained hopeful that another Christmas would be possible, but this was not meant to be. All our love, your Children Joan, Christine, Stephen. Claire and Kenneth and Grandchildren Thomas, Stephanie, Martin, and Annie Rose. Daughters in law Debbie and Meena and Son-in-law Carl.
