FrancesLAKERIt is with great sadness we announce our beloved Mum & Granny, Frances Mary Laker died aged 80. She passed away peacefully after a short and sudden illness at the William Harvey Hospital surrounded by her family on Monday 1st July 2024.
Frances was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 2nd November 1943 and married Jim Laker on 25th September 1962, they had three children: Carol, Robert and James.
Many of the local community will fondly remember her working in the NAAFI, Safeways and Morrisons.
She loved to travel and socialise and will be dearly missed by all - especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The funeral will take place on Tuesday 23rd July at 11.30am at Hawkinge Crematorium.
