From the very first day that I met you, I knew that you were the right man for my mum. You were the love of her life and her soulmate. You were the most kind, caring and trustworthy human being, a man who put family first, a big guy with a big personality, an infectious presence, someone who lit up the room, with no airs and graces and a great sense of humour!! From the very first day that I met you, I knew that you were the right man for my mum. You were the love of her life and her soulmate.

You were the most kind, caring and trustworthy human being, a man who put family first, a big guy with a big personality, an infectious presence, someone who lit up the room with no airs and graces and a great sense of humour!! You were someone with which I could truly be myself. You never had a bad word to say about anyone and always focussed on the positive side of life!!

You had a great relationship with everyone in particular all of your grandkids.

I remember many happy memories with you and Jack and the impact that you have had on our lives as a family. Andy also regarded you very highly.
I remember many special times with you and Jack such as when you made him a blackboard, when you built a cat den together, spending time with Jack in the garage doing DIY and the green bean race with Jack when we came for tea. You were such a special grandpa to him!
I also have fond memories of when we came for tea and the first thing that you always said when we came in the house which was, " Who's driving?" because you always liked to have a drink with either me or Andy.

It's these small things that I will miss so much alongside the lovely holidays and times spent together.

I also want to thankyou for all the love and support that you have given me over the years. It means so much.

We will all miss your presence, hugs and hearing your voice. Just wish we could have had more time with you.

You were such a special person. We will all miss you so much. Love you always Glenn/Grandpa.

Glenn, since the day we first met on September the 1st 2008, and the day we married, exactly four years later, you have always made me feel so very, very loved. The years we’ve had together have been some of the very best of my life. I shall miss so many things but above all, the time, just before tea, when we would sit down in the conservatory, a drink in hand, and talk, about anything and everything. You changed my life and I will love you always.

Glenn, you will be missed so much. You were the most wonderful, kind and loving stepdad and Grandpa to me and the Grandchildren. I will always have such fond memories of you with us on family holidays and at home.
My other memories include you playing teachers with Amber(you being the naughty boy haha), your sun gold tomatoes, spectacular mince and dumplings, growing plants for me from cuttings, your amazing tree lillies, Grandpa’s medicine (alcohol) and scrambling an egg to perfection!
I never did get chance to watch how you made the mince and dumplings, mine is never as good as yours.
