mum holding your hand for the last time was the second most difficult thing l have ever had to do letting go of your hand for the last time was the first
l miss you

for nine months you were my home and not for one day did l feel alone when l was little you would hold my hand and guide me so l could understand you loved me unconditionally until the end you were more than my mum you were my friend
all my love always

mum some times it feels like yesterday some times it feels like a life time ago but the pain of missing you never goes away
you're with me always

whenever we are lonely and need your loving hand we know that you will guide us in life to understand that each day you'll walk beside us we will never be alone the only thing that's changed now mum is that you are not at home

mum the years have passed since you went away but l still miss you each and every day you're always in my thoughts forever in my heart there was so much sadness when we had to part all my love always

hands that rocked the cradle from the moment of my birth their tender touch remembered by those still here on earth soft as silk those hands that taught me how to pray banishing childhood fears they soothed each one away when l grew much older and troubles came my way those hands caressing mine did more than words could say mother's hands were gentle they're missed so very much l'd give the world to feel once more their warm and tender touch those hands were full of comfort now they lie at rest but memories hold them close to the ones they served the best

time cannot steal the treasures that we carry in our hearts nor ever dim the shining thoughts your cherished past imparts for the memories of the one we loved still cast a gentle glow to grace our days and light our paths wherever we may go
