Friends please meet for funeral service at Blyth Central Methodist Church on Wednesday 17th November at 1.00pm. Private interment. Well Eddie, we've been talking about you today. You are such a miss for so many people. Its coming up to the time of year
when you would be phoning up and joking that Doris was older than us (for a few months at least).
Lovely friend since school days. You will always be remembered.

In the summer of 1960 a group of young lads from Blyth went on holiday to Butlins, Filey. Two of them struck up a friendship that was to last for over sixty years, one was Eddie and the other was Joe. They became best mates, served as Best Man for each other at thier weddings and remained close friends for the next six decades. It's been an enjoyable journey with many happy memories. I'll miss you 'old son'. I'll miss you. Joe
