My lovely Dad is being laid to rest on Wednesday 30 October and reading the lovely messages that have been left has been such a comfort to read, at this very difficult time. Dad was such a loving, kind and generous man and its makes me so proud to read this through the lovely tributes that have been left in his memory. Not only my Dad but my best friend. Thanks for the memories I will keep in my heart forever. Give Mum a hug from me Dad, reunited finally with "My Betty". Brokenhearted but proud to say your my Dad. As already said, "simply the best". Up The Toffees Dad. Goodnight God bless. Miss you forever. Julie xxx 💙👼💙

To our Pat,

Lovely memories of the long walks we had including to the ‘Towney’ and back, Costa Coffee, Morrison’s, food and a chat, and stopping to say hello to anyone you knew, especially anyone who was wearing royal blue.

Then off to the charity shops where you loved to browse and where your Betty taught you how to pick up a bargain or two.

So it’s a black cab for Pat on his final journey to be re-united with his Betty again.

Loving sister and brother, Catherine and Bernard.

Nil satis nisi optimum.

Rest in Peace Pat.

Brother-in-law Tony and nephews Anthony (in N.Z.) and Alex.
