Allan HJONESof Springfield Park, Rochdale. Passed away peacefully on the 2nd October 2023. Beloved Husband of the late Joan, much loved Dad of Shirley, Julie, and Lisa, loving Grandad to Allan, Catherine, Bethany, Nadine and Jasper and Father in law to Richard.

Funeral service to take place at Rochdale Crematorium on Tuesday 17th October at 3.20pm. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to The Christie. All enquiries to Bridgefold Funeral Service, Tel 01706 639941.

Worked under Big Al in the 80's as part of the orginal Grounds Maintenence team with Ginger, Wick, Danny, John, Roy B, Roy L, Beefy, Carl, Derek, Bob. Great times, loads of laughs. Great boss. Thanks for the memories Al. God Bless.

Alan was a lovely man and really looked after his gang of council workers on the parks, especially the lads who did the mowing up and down Rochdale the social life was good as well. Thinking of Alan's family at this sad time.

I knew Alan when we worked at the council together. He was one of the kindest people I have ever known. He had a heart of gold and went out of his way to help people. The place was never the same when he left. Sincere condolences to Alan's family.
