David AlanJONESDied surrounded by his loved ones on February 19 2022. Much loving father to David Macario -Jones. Also to Sara Brazer and Amber Jones from his first marriage. David was born in Prescot, Merseyside in 1942 during the war. He was a graduate from Prescot Grammar School. He graduated as an architect in The London Polytechnic School of Architecture and was an associate member of The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and The American Institute of Architects (AIA) David had a successful career which included designing shopping malls and hotels in The Middle East. Also friends with Songwriter and singer Tony Hazzard, he met The Beatles in The Cavern. David moved to the USA in the early 1980 where he developed his architectural career and also became a professional racing car driver. In Laguna Seca Racetrack in Monterey He was a football coach in a private college taking the team to win several trophies. David returned to the UK in 1996 and met Maria Ines Macario, his partner for the last 26 years. They lived in Hellingly East Sussex had a son and shared their love for traveling to Kenya and going on adventures together. They had two labradors called Pele and Perón and lived a happy life in the countryside. David will be dearly missed by his children, his grandchildren and all who loved him. David will always have a loving place in Maria’s heart.
