AnnJONES (FORMERLY IRELAND)It is with Great Sadness and a Heavy Heart to announce the passing of my Lovely Wife Ann on Monday 11th March. The Most Selfless, Caring and Considerate women to walk amongst us. She touched people's hearts in so many ways with a Smile, Laugh, Kind Words or Wisdom. Ann was born in Liverpool and was Sister to Joey, Jack, Hughie and Bert and would often tell us of her childhood days with her dad & brothers during the hard times in the blitz. She vividly remembered being a little girl sitting on the doorstep with her dad singing while the German bombers were above fighting and dropping bombs around them.

She would recall the days of being an Usherette where she met her lifelong friend Marie and her Adopted family who she loved and who loved her unconditionally. Ann was first married to her husband Jimmy and was mother to Ken but was sadly widowed after 25 years of a happy marriage. She was a brilliant cook and would share her stories of the laughs she had and the meals she served up to media tycoons when she worked at Bemrose's. Ann was also a brilliant singer and would stop people in their tracks whenever she picked up the microphone and loved singing when the opportunity arose. This is how we first met, hearing that wonderful sultry voice. Her sense of humour was brilliant, she was the life and soul of every party with so many laughs and her friends who called themselves Annie's Angels, which she loved. A life well lived till the age of 90 until she passed away peacefully in my arms, surrounded by her family. She often said the most precious thing you can give anyone is time and she had that for everyone that she ever met, A One-of-a-Kind, Unique and Amazing Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother & Friend. For those that would like to pay their respects her funeral will be held on Wednesday 27th March at St Francis De Sales Church, 75 Hale Road, Walton L4 3RL at 12.15 followed by Cremation at Anfield Crematorium at 1.20 then on to Farmers Arms, Larkhill Lane, Clubmoor L13 9BL from 2.00pm

Words cannot express the sadness we feel for the loss of such a fabulous lady, who has been part of our lives for over 40 years as our much-loved step mum.
Ann was our wedding maid all those years back and has played a huge role supporting us ever since with her wisdom, humour, loving nature and genuinely caring for everyone without hesitation.
Ann was always our bonus mum, the mum we were so lucky to have.
Every time we visited Ann you could hear her humming a tune as she walked toward the front door.
*** Priceless. ***
This lady, blessed by her example, is the best natured human being we could have ever wished to have enjoyed sharing our lives with...
Ann will be dearly missed.
God Bless.
