Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on March 25th 2009, aged 79 years, John (Old Gippa), beloved husband of Phoebe (nee Iredale), much loved dad of John, Lynda and Valerie, father-in-law of Chris, Jimmy B. and Jimmy G., adored grandad of John, Kerrie, Kevin, Shaun, Danny, Lee, Ryan, Lewis and Courteney, also loving great grandad, brother of Winnie and brother-in-law to John and Josie. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Birtley Crematorium on Tuesday 31st March at 12.00 noon.
