TimJIBSONPassed away suddenly but peacefully on Sunday 9th February 2025, aged 76 years, surrounded by his loving family, after the most wonderful day on holiday,

Devoted Husband to Ann Marie, Dad to Michael, Paul and Lexi. Grandad to Flora, Rowan and Kaia. Amazing Uncle to Charlotte, Lauren, Lee, Mike, Amber and Harmony. In law to Paul, Sue, Caroline and Leanne. A good friend to many. Reunited with missed family members, but most importantly Brenda and Rose, who he missed ever so dearly.

A private service and cremation is to be held by family request.

Special memories and donations may be left online, if you wish to pay your respects.

Tim was a friend and colleague. I first met him in the early days of Viking Radio. His contribution to its rise to market leader as a broadcaster and promoter was immense. With Adventures In Radio Tim and Anne Marie took UK commercial radio all over the world. He will be very fondly remembered in every corner of the industry.

I’ll miss you. Rest in peace.

Jibbo. What a legend. You are the reason myself and so many others got into radio. You were always incredibly humble about it when I would embarrass you by thanking you. You’d just say something like “oh so it’s my fault is it ?”. You always made me smile and were an outstanding broadcaster. Your enthusiasm and knowledge was exemplary. My deepest condolences to Anne Marie and the family. He will leave a huge hole in your lives but you have to many fantastic memories and so many people who love you both dearly. RIP Tim x
