My nephew ( my baby brother I never had, as we were so close in age).
Growing up together, sharing so many happy times, your fun, energy, humour, wit, loving and caring nature. Still in total disbelief that you have left us. Can’t believe I’m never going to hear you say Auntie Karen again. Love you, shine brightly in the sky forever.

I spent every Saturday and some midweeks with Steve due to our involvement with Cheadle Heath Nomads, and I loved his humour, his anger at the small things that frustrates the life out of him, and his lack of patience for all other road users when we were travelling. He was our very own sat nav.

As club secretary he was widely respected. Anyone who knew him will say he was so easy to get on with and he took time to talk to anyone and treated them with respect always

He was my drinking buddy, my confidante, but most importantly of all, he was my friend and I will miss him always. Saturdays have changed for ever, and changed for the worse

RIP Steven Roy, until we share a Stella again in that pub in the sky
