Sylvia MaryJENKINS(née Sowden) of Castle Drive, Cimla, Neath
Passed into the presence of her Lord on the 1st February 2025, aged 83 years, at Morriston Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Dearly loved wife of Alan and mother of Christine, Kerry, Carolyn and Jonathan. Beloved gran of Naomi, Lydia, Jacob, Chloé, Joel, Beth, Tilly, Gideon, Phoebe, Betsy, Jonah, Jesse and Aspen. A dear mother-in-law to Richard, Jonnie, James and Kim and great-gran to Seth and Elijah. Precious sister to the late Betty and Gwyn and sister-in-law to June and the late Roy, Joan, Joffre, Doreen and David. A loyal friend and beloved aunt to so many nephews and nieces.
'Absent from the body, present with the Lord which is far better'
A private family service will be held on Friday 28th February, followed by interment, for those who wish to attend, at Llantwit Cemetery at 1:00pm. A service of thanksgiving will then take place at Mission Hall, Neath, SA11 3NB at 2:00pm
Family flowers only by request but donations may be in made in lieu, in memory of Sylvia, to either The Stroke Association or Operation Smile
