After over 40 years loyal service, Terry took early retirement due to ill health. Terry was an accomplished dart player winning lots of trophies from the many tournaments and competitions he entered in his younger years, in particular winning the Observer Trophy. Terry enjoyed playing crown green bowling and was a member of Burnley Road Bowling Green Club for many years, Terry also liked playing dominoes every Friday at the club. Terry loved to make apple crumble using apples from his own apple trees and spent lots of time watching and feeding the birds in his garden. Terry and Doreen enjoyed many memorable holidays together, enjoying some well-earned rest and relaxation. Most of all, Terry was a devoted family man and loyal friend to many who will be greatly missed but fondly remembered.
