SamuelJACKSONMr Samuel Jackson, of Ivy Grove, Rawtenstall, died on Sunday, November 1, at the Royal Blackburn Hospital, aged 92. Samuel was a long distance lorry driver, working for Duralay and Connolly’s, and prior to retirement at Marshall’s. He enjoyed reading, watching TV, listening to music, brass bands, and ABBA. Husband of the late Margaret, Samuel leaves five children Pauline, Brian, Carole, Christine, and Christopher, three grandchildren Georgina, Charlene, and Christopher, seven great-grandchildren Adrianne, Bobbie-Ann, Bailey, Logan, Ruby, Oscar, and Lottie, two brothers Ken and Jim, two sisters-in-law June and Valerie, brother-in-law Pete, son-in-law Bill, and nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 10, at 11am at the Chapel of Rest, followed by interment at Rawtenstall Cemetery at 11.45am, led by Rev Stephen Crook.
