Basil PhilipIRISH(Ystradowen) Peacefully passed away on Friday 23rd August 2024, aged 98 years.
Phil was a devoted and much loved husband of 74 years to Olive, cherished father to Julie and Linda, brother to Joy, and a much loved grandad of Alexander (Alex), Adrienne (Ady), Connor, Sam, Erica and Gregory, and great grandad of Finn, Quill and Evander.
A family man of kindness, generosity, humour and wisdom, he will be forever missed.
Thanks to his GP, the District Nurses, Marie Curie Nurses and the wonderful Palliative Care Team from Caring Companions.
Funeral service will take place at St Owain's Church, Ystradowen on Friday 13th September at 1.15pm and thereafter followed by Coychurch Crematorium, Simonston Rd, Coychurch, Bridgend CF35 6AB at 2.45pm.
