Albert EdwinHURSTAlbert Edwin Hurst of Packmoor, aged 79 years. Unexpectedly passed away at Royal Stoke University Hospital peacefully on 24th January 2025, whilst surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly beloved husband of Pauline. Devoted dad to Paul, Philip and Lyndsey. A loving and much loved grandad to Jade and Katie. A dearest great grandad, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend who will be truly missed.

Funeral service at Tunstall Methodist Church on Tuesday 25th February 2025 at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Tunstall Cemetery.

Would all friends and relatives please meet at the Church.

Floral tributes are welcome, as are donations towards a memorial bench at Westport Lake.

A lovely man, father, brother, husband and grandad. Alberts shock passing, 7 falls too many he is deeply missed. Enjoy the Guinness with Barry, John and Neil sadly you didn't quite make Dublin to try real Guinness. Always in our hearts and thoughts for our journey together. Love Philip

Instead of donation money to the deep pockets of charity bosses I've set up a gofundme shown above towards a memorial bench. Although Gofundme take just over 50p per £10, we as a family like the transparency of everyone seeing what is raised and where it will go. Once the bench has been installed I'll post a picture on here and on the Gofundme so you know where to find it. Many thanks to those who do donate and those paying their respects at his funeral.
