Joy HazelHUNTERPeacefully in hospital on 17th December 2024, aged 77 years.

Joy, beloved wife of Ian. Devoted mam of Carol and Joy and mother in law of Steven. Also a loving step mam of Helen and Joanne. Much loved grandma of April, Bethany, Harry, Joe, Lee, Amy and Alex and great grandma of Louis, Charlie and Cole. A dear sister of Bob and George and sister in law of Brenda, Melanie and Brian. Joy will be sadly missed by all her loving family and dear friends.

A celebration of Joy's life will take place at Saltwell Crematorium on Wednesday 8th January at 10.30am.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be made to Cancer Research UK. Feel free to wear bright colours if desired.

Joy, my school friend of 70 years, we first met as children going to a new junior school, I’ll always remember Joy with her quiet demeanour and ready smile, she’ll be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her
