The obituary notice of Fred HOPPER

Fred was a much respected member of the BETFOR (British Element Trieste Force) Association. He is remembered for the Regimental and Corps badges which he created, many of which, I think, were presented to the Chairmen of the the Association over a number of years. In addition to the annual meetings of the Trieste veterans, he also came to the small gatherings of those few of us who live in the North East. When illness prevented him from continuing he was very much missed. It was a great pleasure to have known Fred.
