I’m going to miss you Dave. Thanks for the laughs, the advice and help over the years. Still hasn’t sank in yet that you’re gone. We had many laughs while “on the glass”. Rain never stopped you, you said things like “I can smell blue sky” and when it was dark clouds you said “ I can see a bit of blue sky” You were an excellent example of just going out and getting it done. The chats that we used to have on dinner breaks, I’ll always cherish. They were either encouraging or it was advice. Always coming from a spiritually mature person. You leave a big hole, Dave. One that will never be filled. You’ll be greatly missed. A wise man once said, “the day of death is better than the day of one’s birth” Ecl7:1. You made a great name for yourself.
It was a privilege to know you and to call you my father in law.
