Howard NigelHOLTof Brookland Terrace, Cowpe, Waterfoot, passed away at home on July 5, aged 62 years. Howard was a stress engineer in the aerospace industry and retired from Impact Analysis Services LTD. Howard’s hobbies included mountain biking, computers, films and TV and computer programming. A service will be held on Wednesday, July 19 at Stackstead Methodist Church, at 11am, conducted by David Livermore. Like Pete, I have just learned of Nigel’s passing. We studied mechanical engineering together and enjoyed many a good night out with friends. Music and the great outdoors were amongst Nigel’s many passions, none of which he did by half. He was a force of nature, Nige we miss you.

I have just found out about Nigel's passing away. We had lost touch, but he was a great friend of mine at college where we studied mechanical engineering. Amongst his many talents he was a good musician and I still play the tunes that he taught me. Rip Nige.
