HarryHOLLINGSWORTHMr Harry Hollingsworth of Carlton Street, Bacup
passed away at home on Thursday, November 21,
aged 96 years.
Harry was employed as a maintenance mechanic,
retiring from John Maden & Son (Bacup) in the
1990s.
He enjoyed spending time with his family,
having holidays at home and abroad, watching
football and cricket, ballroom dancing, playing
golf and fishing.
He had been a member of Bacup Cricket Club
since the 1950s.
Husband of the late Linda and the late Jean,
he leaves his beloved son Neil, and the following
family, Christine, Jean, Victoria, Emma, Martin,
Grace, Isabelle, Lynn, Peter, David, Lisa,
Michael, Marie, Bertie, Ethan, Grace, Mathew,
Megan, Mark, Ben and Antonia.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 10
at the Chapel of Rest at 12.45pm, followed by a
service and cremation at Burnley Crematorium at
1.45pm, administered by Rev’d David Bartram.
Family flowers only, however donations if
desired to The Salvation Army.
