Bei einem meiner Besuche bei Jayne durfte ich auch ihren Vater David kennenlernen.
Ich habe ihn als ganz wunderbaren und warmherzigen Menschen in Erinnerung.
Sein Tod hat mich sehr berührt.

Each of us will miss David for his or her own reasons. Looking back over the years that I have known David one of things came to mind will be his calmness, his way of not getting involved, trying keeping equilibrium. I will also miss our conversations about music. I would ask him about a song or singers and he would have the answer plus the band they were with all the relevant details. I rang him once from Africa to ask who sang Tiger Feet, the answer came with in seconds (Mud), I know today we have the internet but I will miss asking David.
Rest In Peace. The Beatles have lost one of their big fans.
