ValerieHAYES(Formerly McDowall, nee Parkin) (Val) Passed away peacefully following a short illness on Tuesday 9th May 2023 at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. Val aged 69 years of Ash Bank. (Retired nurse of the former NSRI and Leek Moorlands Hospital). Beloved wife of John, loving mum of Conrad and his partner Emily, much loved step mum of Susan and Linda, dear nanny of Nolan, cherished and loved youngest sister of Pauline, Mary and Jeff and dear auntie of Debra, Lisa and the late Steve. Val will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of her family and friends. A Service to Celebrate Val's Life will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Friday 9th June 2023 at 2:30pm. Would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the crematorium and wear bright colours. No mourning clothes by request please. Family flowers only please.
