Helen was a wonderful presence throughout my childhood at St Augustines.
A brilliant example of what it means to be joyful, fun and kind.
We should all strive to be more like Helen.

Helen the lady who listened to me pour my troubles out and gave up her bed for me and my two children. No judgement No patronising. Just pure kindness and care. A lady who made an imprint on my heart and 30 years on will always have a special place
Rest in peace Helen. A beautiful soul xx. Jayne

Today I learnt your name means light in Greek and thats how I will always remember you as a beacon of light for the whole family. I remember coming to spend time with you not long before my parents separated. It’s a time that brings many happy memories not least a very young Patrick singing “the Care Bears are here let’s give them a cheer”.

I will also always be indebted to you, David, Catherine, Peter and Patrick for the love, care and support you gave to Nanna in her latter moments. In doing so you became the true heart of the family. I know those times will not have been easy and I’m sure the whole Parry family would agree we are eternally grateful for all you did. In the years that have passed I often thought if I won the lottery how could I begin to repay you, one option was going to be to pay for you and David to take a trip to a Patriots home game (I’m not sure it you might consider you’ve had a luck escape on that one).

I will always remember your beauty, love and kindness you were always welcoming and helped keep the family connected (not forgetting the pre match nibbles you used to supply).

I don’t know if I remember it correctly but I even have memories of you beaming with pride over some sort of food warming trolley.

Then of course you and Catherine were amongst the first people to meet James as a baby. I will always cherish the picture of you cradling him in your arms.

I will always remember you as the light that brightened the darker moments and magnified the happier ones.

You were a beacon of light in life and I’m sure will continue to shine as the brightest star in heaven.

Love Simon

Aunty Helen,

You were one very special women, who held a place so dear in everyone you met hearts.

I wish you were able to meet the little family I have now, Connah & Rowan, however I know you’ll be watching over us all.

You were one of the kindest and most caring women I’ve ever met. I’ll forever savour the memories of being in your and uncle David’s, staying over whilst being in south wales. Memories I’ll forever cherish now you’re gone.

I wish you’d of got to seen more of what I’m yet to accomplish but I know you’ll always be watching over me and the rest of our family those close and those who are extended ❤️

Rest In forever Peace ❤️
