JohnHARTLEYOf Chapel Street, Oswaldtwistle, died at home on Sunday 24th March 2024, aged 70 years.

John sadly leaves behind his much loved wife Deborah, daughter Jodie and son in law Scott. He was also a dearly loved grandfather of 13, brother in law of David and Susan, uncle of Matt and Elliot and a dear step father of Scott, Katy, Kirsty and Theo.

He will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by all those who knew him.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2.20pm on Thursday 4th April 2024, at Accrington Crematorium.

Family flowers only please, donations are welcome in memory of John for the East Lancashire Hospice c/o Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, The Old Foxhill, 136-8 Union Road, Oswaldtwistle. BB5 3DR. Tel: 01254 390542.

Sad news to hear. I haven’t seen John for years however be forever greatful for the teenage memories made on holidays with jodie, jen and john , the friday francos ,listening to eagles and dr hook in the car driving to beautiful destinations and the salad dressing he made. Rest easy john. Lots of love to Jodie. I will always remember his laugh!
