In the garden of memories we meet every day. It's been a long time Alan but I still cannot accept the fact that you are really gone 💔.

2 years have gone so fast.
You sadly never got to complete your work on the old cinemas of Stanley and South Moor.
Your colleagues in I C U at University hospital of North Durham however have paid a rather fitting tribute in your honour.
They have dedicated a seat at the historic cinema at Beamish Museum in your name.
A lovely gesture which shows how much they thought of you.
I know you would love it.
You are sorely missed by everyone who knew you.
Jack is with you now too and you can once again reminisce on the history of Stanley as you both did in your books.
Gone too soon brother.
Kevin and I will raise a glass to you in memory.
