It's still a shock that someone I've known for nearly 20 years and with whom I enjoyed a coffee with less than two months ago, has been taken from us. I knew Jamie through work. I meet hundreds, perhaps thousands, of people this way, but Jamie was one of a small number of people who earned a special place in my peer-group. I'm fortunate, like many others that knew him, that I have some great memories of Jamie to cherish - far too many to go into here. Jamie had a wicked sense of humour that could be misunderstood, but at heart he was a genuine and caring human being. We are all poorer for not having him around any more. My thoughts go out to his family and his son, Tyler.
