The obituary notice of Dr Lucy Elizabeth HARRISON NEE MCKENDRICK

So sorry to see that Lucy had passed away. I didn’t know her well but I did a mindfulness course a few years ago with her that really helped me in a dark time. She was so kind and such a peaceful person. Rest in peace Lucy.

Lucy was a fabulous friend, colleague and teacher -always thinking of others. She touched so many people’s lives with her wisdom, compassion and care. She will be so greatly missed. Isy McQueen

I have just learnt about Lucy’s passing today at a mindfulness gathering at Oxford, and feel utterly heartbroken. I trained with Lucy for our MBCT master course at university and have such fond memories of our time there. Lucy was kind, intelligent, conscientious and someone to count on. My deepest condolences to her family. I will hold you all in my prayers and thoughts knowing how terribly she will be missed. RIP dearest Lucy. Xxxxx

I had the pleasure of working with Lucy some years ago, she was without doubt one of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve met, a proper family Doctor who had time for everyone. Hearing of her passing brought me great sadness for her family and friends. I hope that she is at peace. Those who are, and have been, loved never die. RIP Lucy.

I was fortunate to have met Lucy when I attended one of her mindfulness training courses. I can confidently say that she has benefited my life and that of many health professionals with the gift of her intelligent, wise and compassionate teaching. Like so many others I will miss her warmth, kindness, and wisdom. My heartfelt condolences are with her family,knowing that she will be hugely missed.
