I used to manage the Nuffield Hospitals in Cardiff and its been some years since I worked with Prof Haray and I am so shocked and saddened to hear this news and so late too. Prof was one of the most approachable caring and patient centred Consultants I worked with and on a personal level, such a courteous and genuinely good person. My belated condolences to his family and friends.

Devastated to learn the passing of Professor Haray. Someone who will always be remembered by me and my family, a man who changed my life for the better and was always helpful and friendly.
RIP Professor Haray and long will your memory and work live on.

Haray was a kind and caring man, an inspiration to many in, and outside the medical world. A high achiever, yet humble and self deprecating in his unique humorous way. Many lovely chats and extended meetings while going over his financial affairs where he gave me great insight into his work at PCH. It was lovely to hear more about him and his work from his colleagues and friends in the beautiful eulogies at his funeral. My kids still enjoy some of his Peppa Pig gifts he passed on to me. I won't forget you Haray.

A much respected colleague and friend, who I miss dearly. An inspirational man who often put himself last for the benefit of others.

He moved Heaven and Earth to operate on me once he was aware of my cancer tumour and saved my life.
