WilliamHALLOWSDr Bill Hallows, husband to Margaret, father to Ruth and Rebecca, Grandpa to Christina, Kathryn, Seb and Sandy died peacefully in Henfield after a short illness. Born in Chesterfield, he did his National Service in Dorset then read Chemistry and gained his doctorate from Nottingham University. He moved to Torquay in 1968 where he worked at South Devon Technical College until his retirement in 1992 and moved latterly to West Sussex during the pandemic. He was a keen gardener and cook, and enjoyed a good Western. His funeral is at Worthing Crematorium on Friday 29 November 2024 at 3pm.
