StephenHAINESPeacefully in Hull Royal Infirmary on the 2nd January 2025, aged 77 years.

Reunited with his loving Daughter Lou. Dearly loved Husband of Barbara. Much loved Dad of Chris, Jonathan and Jamie. Also devoted Grandad to Oliver. Loved Brother of Diane and Trevor.

Funeral service to take place on Thursday 23rd January at the Lelley Fields Crematorium at 1.00pm (Oak Hall).

No Flowers by family request but donations if desired for chosen charities, collection plate at service.

Resting at John Parkin & Son, 3 Saltshouse Road. Tel. 376104.

Godbless you Stevie friend of Wendy ,Barbara lm so sorry on your loss of wonderful devoted husband and father, Stevie was lovely kind gentlemen who we had great time with on motorbikes at lsle of man races.l remember it well especially 'hotel' but we had great time together, was always jolly man and lve never forgotten him,last saw him in pub with his mate,so pleased l gave him big hugs.Remember your wedding what lovely loving couple you was,we danced and drank the night away until early hours great party great friends and made for each other you both were.So so sorry sweetheart, l often looked for him in town,will always be remembered as perfect gentleman and loving wife to you hun,so sorry l missed his funeral as would have been there,only just seen this and heartbreaking, look after yourself you had the best husband ever, take care love Wendy G (just remember lsle of man great advice l took) sleeping peacefully my friend love Wendy G xx❤❤

So sorry to hear about Steve's passing . I knew Steve from Drypool Engineering when I started in 1968 . We had so many laughs and good memories . He was such a lovely person who would do anything for you . I employed him at Ruscadors for many years and nothing was too much for him . He never complained and just got on with the job . I am sure he will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him . Rest in peace Steve . Rick Langton and Family
