My beautiful Grandad, the kindest person I have ever known - I can't find the words to describe just how much I miss you.

With every day that passes, your absence weighs heavier on my heart.

I recall the beautiful days, the happy times, and the warm memories; I recall the quiet days, the simple times, I recall the peace and safety you gave so freely and selflessly.

You made me feel so loved, I never thought about the day you might not be there. You were my certainty in a world where nothing is guaranteed. Now that you are not here, the world feels so small, and still I search for you everywhere in it.

Just as you always did so for me, I will hold you in every moment and memory to be made in my life - because without you, what would my life be? I owe everything to you.

I hope and pray that one day I can be as kind and loving as you, I hope I can make you and nan proud.

I love you more than I could ever say, and everyday I will strive to prove it.

Until we meet again x
