Peacefully in her sleep on 7th January 2025 aged 91 years, after a long illness. Safe in the arms of Jesus. Betty beloved wife of the late Bill, much loved Mam of Bill and Margaret and Mother in law of Pamela and Paul. A cherished Grandma to Caroline, Rachael, Christopher and Alexandra, and to their spouses David, Peter, Charlotte and Paul. She was a lovely Great Grandma to Mia, Ella, Florence and baby George. Betty was the best friend, of her late sister Margaret, and her husband Harry. Also a treasured Auntie, to Victoria, her husband Steven and their children Charlotte and Grace. Betty will be missed as an Aunt and Cousin to all of her family. A funeral service will be held at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday 23rd January at 10:30am. Family flowers only please, and any donations if so desired can be left by retiring collection for Cancer Research UK. Everyone is welcome after the service at the Eslington Villa. A special thanks to the staff at Marigold Court who looked after her during the past few months, also to her Doctor and all the Nurses (Rapid Response and Community Teams)
