Sad to hear the news of Godons passing. I worked @ Widdicombe farm for a couple of years on Saturdays and during breaks whilst at college back in 1988-1990. Gordon made sure that I got stuck in , from mowing, to planting & harvesting crops, helping to build the bar, you name it, I had a go. I learnt to drive using the farms Massey Ferguson 135, the first time he forgot to tell me how to stop so had to jump down from the fender before we narrowly missed a caravan. He forsure instilled a strong work ethic that has served me well these past 30+ years. Although I no longer live in that part of the world I will never forget my time spent at Widicombe farm, working with Gordon, Chris and all the family. Rest in peace sensei.
