Passed away peacefully on Saturday 29th June 2024, aged 87 years.

Beloved husband to Angela for sixty five years and a much loved dad of Annette and Chris. A dear grandad to Lucy, Emma and Katie, great grandad of George and Annie, and father-in-law to Helen.

Funeral service to be held at The West Suffolk Crematorium, St Edmunds Chapel, on Friday 19th July at 2:00pm. Black clothing optional.

Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, may be made payable to St Nicholas Hospice Care and sent care of

Southgate of Newmarket Funeral Directors, 25 Duchess Drive, Newmarket, CB8 8AG.

Brian and I worked in a research laboratory side by side in the early sixties and shared a desk for writing up our data. He was always good company, with an amiable temperament and entertaining sense of humour. He would also give practical assistance if required. I would like to offer condolences to all his family as I am sure that he will be much missed.
