James ArthurGIBBONS"Jim" Passed away peacefully at home in Belper with his loving family by his side on Thursday 5th December 2024 aged 91 years.

Jim was a devoted husband to the late "Greta" Gibbons, a treasured dad to John & Janice. A trusted father-in-law to Gillian & Robert. A special granddad to Sarah, Christopher, Joseph, Alex and Hannah and great granddad to Vivienne & Jools. Jim will be sorely missed by all his family and many friends.

A service to celebrate Jim's life will be held at Christ Church Belper on Thursday 16th January 2025 at 11:00am. Family Flowers only please, donations in lieu will benefit Treetops Hospice Care, these maybe given at the service or online at rydefunerals.co.uk/donations.

A very kind and genuine man, I consider myself very fortunate to have had Jim as my father in law.
He was tough as old boots and a real family man, always taking an interest in whatever we were up to.

Sorely missed and he will live on in our hearts forever.

I have known Jim from childhood and have fond memories of a man who adored his family.
I saw him 2024 after many years of absence and saw how much he still thought the world of Janice and John. He loved to discuss the endeavours of Derby County F.C and was always ready to find out the final score. Rest in peace Jim you will be missed.
