Janet AnnGEEPassed away peacefully at
Cedar Court Dementia Care Home on Wednesday 20th September
aged 78 years.

Janet, a retired primary school teacher, was very passionate about cats, and with the help of her late husband, Jim, had bred blue, cream and blue cream Persians and had become a national judge of Exotic Shorthairs, amongst others.
She loved talking to her longtime friends on the phone on a daily basis, and was very keen on playing Scrabble every Friday night (which she did for 47 years!)
She wasn't a materialistic person and was always an advocate of things being natural in origin, and could be very stubborn and principled on the matter.

Janet was extremely loyal to her family and friends, and will be very sorely missed by her daughter, Deborah, and son-in-law, John, lifelong friend, Janet, and her husband, Brian, good friends, nieces and nephews, and of course by her Asian cats, Lucian and Isis.

Janet's funeral will be held in the
Willow Service Room at Bretby Crematorium on Monday 30th October at 11.30am.

No flowers by kind request.
Donations if desired will benefit
Linjoy Wildlife Sanctuary and Rescue.

Arrangements & Care are entrusted to

Oh Janet, how shocked I was at your passing. We didn't speak often, but I will miss you greatly. My memories of our trips into the blue persian cat pedigrees will stay with me. We spent hours researching those. I particularly enjoyed the times I spent stewarding for you at cat shows, you taught me so much. Recently we didn't talk much, but I will miss you greatly.. You were a kind and wonderful person. Thank you for being in my life.
